REMDI's working groups were created to facilitate the exchange of experiences related to the measurement of child development in the region. For this purpose, we organize ourselves into topics related to the interests of the members of the network. The objective is that the participants of these groups have access to new tools and methodological updates to be applied in the measurement of child development in their countries. In recent years, the region has accumulated sufficient experience and expertise on the part of professionals working in these areas of knowledge. The promotion of exchange between them and other actors involved in decision making related to the measurement of child development with the objective of improving the quality and comparability of such measurements in the countries. Likewise, participation in these groups promotes access to the updated academic production of professionals from other regions, as well as to measurement implementation experiences in different organizations and institutions. In these working groups, existing knowledge at the global level is socialized and knowledge adapted to the region is generated.
